Isaac entertains us on a daily basis with what comes out of his mouth - nothing bad, of course, just creative. Here are a few of my favorite Isaac quotes:
1. Isaac asking me to get him a GI Joe to play with - "Mommy please get gobalalalada up dere."
2. A conversation we had after reading a book about feelings (which included a goat feeling naughty for eating laundry)
Mom: How do you feel? Are you happy?
Isaac: Yep
Mom: Are you sad?
Isaac: Nope
Mom: Are you glad?
Isaac: Yes
Mom: Are you angry?
Isaac: Yes
Mom: Why are you angry?
Isaac: Goat mess eat dryer.
3. Isaac's idea of coloring time - "Mommy please draw me a purple baseball bat." or "Draw an orange spaceship with guy in it...waving...and mouth on it."
4. Isaac asking to play NHL '94 on the computer - "Play hotty, Isaac's turn, play hotty."
5. Isaac the self-confident - "I love Isaac. Isaac so nice. Isaac awesome."
6. Isaac when he wakes up in the morning - "Mommy (or Daddy - whichever comes out of his random generator), honey, please play legos."
7. Isaac whenever he is asked to stop what he's doing to go somewhere or to do something else - "No mommy, I'm almost done."
8. What Isaac calls Meili when she's laughing - "Meili happy girl." What Isaac calls Meili when she's crying - "Meili happy girl."
9. Isaac asking me to continue giving him a back rub - "Rub back, another one."
10. What Isaac says when I ask where he is (when he's especially quiet in another room) - "I'm right here sitting on the floor... I'm just reading."
