As you can tell by my lack of blog posts, I'm not the best blogger. It's not because we're boring and have nothing to blog about. It's more the opposite...each day and week and month seem to fly by before I have the chance to record the goings on of us. I will often sit at the computer to upload pics and make a quick blog entry, but I somehow get lost in the memories and end up spending the little time I have just looking at pictures. Anyway, here is a small attempt to get back on track and document our adventures!

Ian - the wiggly, giggly one that is SOOO close to crawling!

Meili and Isaac - enjoying the park on a beautiful Fall day - we LOVE this time of year!

This is our Thankful Tree (aka Pinterest idea attempt). Each day we talk about things for which we're thankful and hang paper cut-outs on our tree. So far the kids are thankful for their toys, candy, and 'Fun Stuff'!

The Crew!

It's been a while since I've posted pics. So here's a little something that pretty much sums us up, although Isaac is looking a little more innocent and calm than he really is.

April Fool's Joke on Us

I woke up this morning with the expectation of meeting a beautiful Spring day, but was greatly disappointed at the worst April Fool's joke ever - SNOW!!! (I wish I could conclude this post with "April Fools!").

Birthday! Birthday!

My friend, Stephanie, made these adorable cupcakes for me! The kids went crazy over Elmo and the Cookie Monster.

Today I woke up to a delicious breakfast: German pancakes, bacon, my favorite cereal, orange juice - all things we hardly ever have! Then I took a nice long shower and took my time getting ready for whatever I wanted to do that day, which included going to the mall, taking a nap, watching my favorite show - Psych, going out to lunch, and talking to my favorite people on the phone who called to wish me Happy Birthday (I kind of suspect that Marshall had something to do with that)! Half way through the day I realized that the only thing wrong with it was that now I'm 27! But since I got to spend the entire day with Marshall and the crew, I quickly forgot or at least didn't seem to care as much. For my birthday, Marshall made me a poster with the pictures of six potential birthday gifts, of which I could pick one. He also took care of the kids all day, made a scrumptious grilled salmon dinner, and gave me some fancy tongs (which I've been asking for for a long time) and tickets to see the new Jane Eyre movie that just came out. I wish everyday was my birthday!

I got to choose between a shopping spree at the mall, a shed, a trip to Texas, a Wii, a Bosch mixer, or an iPad. It was a tough decision that took me all day to make. But after much deliberating, I picked the iPad!

Isaac was in charge of getting himself ready - he wanted to look just like daddy!
This is their model pose.

At the mall, I went into the Apple store to look at the iPad2. Since the kids couldn't be trusted in the store, Marshall kept them outside while I browsed. When I looked through the window to see how things were going with them, this is what I found.

Ian's Blessing

Today Ian received his baby blessing. Both my mom and Marshall's dad were in town. It was beautiful. The two things from Ian's blessing that stood out to me were that he would be blessed to be spiritually sensitive and to be cheerful in all things.

Ian is One Month old!

 Ian at four weeks
I can't believe Ian is already four weeks old! How time flies. Last Friday I took him to the doctor and he weighs 7 lbs! He had gained 1 1/2 lbs in just two weeks. If he keeps up this pace, my little guy isn't going to be little for long.

Pic of Baby Boy (still not decided on a name)

This is a 3-D ultrasound pic of our little baby boy taken about four weeks ago. Still taking name suggestions.
