We were so lucky to have Marshall's dad come visit on his way back to California from Brussels, Belgium. Isaac had tons of fun playing with him, and we even ventured to DC for a visit to the National Zoo just before Charlie had to leave. Isaac loved the pandas, but was disappointed that there weren't any polar bears.
The day Charlie was to arrive, we asked Isaac, "Guess who's coming to visit us to today?" He replied excitedly, "Allyson!" (This seems to be his most frequent response.) We said, "No. Try again." "Samuel!" (He next most frequent response). Again we said, "No." Then Marshall said, "He's nice and he loves you." Isaac got a huge smile of recognition on his face and squealed, "Jesus!"
Isaac and Charlie had some good times playing during the day while Marshall was at school. Isaac was asleep when we dropped Charlie off at the airport. We should have woke him up to say goodbye, for when he finally did awaken the first thing he said was, "Where's Nooksongs?" We told him that we dropped him off at the airport. For the next two or three days, Isaac would wake up in the morning and ask to go to the airport to get Nooksongs.

It is so fun to see pictures of you guys! We miss you. I love the picture of Meili on Marshy's shoulders. Very cute. Also, Isaac riding on the back of that kids scooter is hillarious!
That's cute that Isaaac calls Charlie Nooksongs. I thought that only Ryan did that.
This is such a cute post. Isaac cracks me up! I love the "Jesus" comment. Tommy and I still imitate Isaac with his adorable robot voice, "UNCLE THOMAS!". We miss you guys!
